I thought I was the only one who was underwhelmed by the gala. I had heard stories about how unbelievable the gala's were and expected something very different from my first gala. I ate the wedding grade meal and left. I hope they didn't spend more than $100 for the opening band, if they did, they overpaid. The music was cranked up too loud to hold a conversation with the only other person at my table. People stood in long lines to win crap I wouldn't have taken for free. It was very disappointing.
